Helen Backes

Helen, an Elkader resident, is a new member of the OHP family. Bitten by the theatre bug in high school, she continued to participate throughout her college years. Several years and a couple of children later, Helen was still smitten with the theatre. She has directed several school plays and musicals at Guttenberg Community School. Helen is the Executive Director for the Clayton County Development Group, a county-wide economic development organization. She is married to Robert Backes. They have three children Nathan, Matthew and Benjamin.
